In fact, if you take the family for dinner, no one has to know you treated yourself for lunch. 🤫😂
Just mention ILIS when you order and a portion of proceeds will go back to PTO. Thank you so much!

The deadline to complete Returning Student Registration and guarantee a “first day of school” bus spot is April 30. After this date, we cannot guarantee bus placement.
Even if your student will not be riding the bus, all current K–11 students must complete Returning Student Registration. This ensures that your contact information, including emergency contacts, is up to date.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the front office. Thank you!

Have a great morning Warriors- we hope you had a great Spring Break!

This is an incredible opportunity for rising 5th and 6th grade leaders in Lancaster County to learn firsthand what it takes to serve, lead, and protect.

Sharing this again as a friendly reminder to our families!
Warrior Families-
PLEASE keep these dates in mind, as they are different than in previous years! All travel is considered unexcused, so make sure you mark your calendar for the end of this school year, and the start of next school year as you make your summer vacation plans.
Additionally, 5th Grade orientation is already confirmed for Friday, July 31st! We anticipate our Open House for 5th & 6th grade to be Thursday, July 30th.

Teamwork makes the dream work, y’all! Ms. Patterson is helping her students learn this tried-and-true life lesson in her Intermediate 101 class.
She shares: “In our sixth grade classes this week, we are focusing on teamwork. We are exploring the three C’s of teamwork: communication, collaboration, and coordination. In this challenge, teams worked together to build the tallest tower possible using index cards. Each person was only allowed to use one hand, so teams had to rely on the three C’s to overcome the limitations placed on them.”
Thank you for sharing, Ms. Patterson!

She writes: "Last week in science, our class took learning to a whole new level—literally! As we wrapped up our unit on plate tectonics and plate boundaries, students got hands-on by using graham crackers, rice cakes, and frosting to model the different types of plate movements. From convergent to divergent to transform boundaries, they built (and tasted!) their way through the lesson. It was a fun, creative, and delicious way to bring science to life. Safe to say… my class absolutely ROCKS! 🌎✨"
They sure do. And you do, too, Ms. Kiel!! 💙💛

Great work to Ms. Tomy and her 5th Graders! Have a great rest of your night, Warrior Families. 💙💛

It is also opening night for the Book Fair, and food trucks will be on site, so come hungry!
We look forward to seeing you on April 16 from 5:00–7:00 PM, Warriors!

She writes: "On Friday we played 'The Hunger Games' in math class as a way to learn about probability and see who had the odds in their favor.
Each student drew a 'district' and we discussed the probability of being chosen to participate in the games based on their gender and the number of people in each district.
Students were able to compare their odds to students from other districts. This helped students understand that as the total number of outcomes increases, your chances (of being chosen) decrease. "
Great lesson, Ms. Anderson! Thank you for sharing!
